A wide staircase descends from the second floor to the ground to enter the Miyabari Mosque. And adorning the roof of the mosque are three beautiful domes built side by side. In addition, there are eight minarets, four each on the front and back walls of the mosque. The huge pond located to the east of Karapur Miyabari Mosque adds another dimension to the beauty of the mosque.

How to go

It takes about 7 to 8 hours to go from Dhaka to Barisal. Several buses ply from Gabtali Bus Terminal daily from 6 am to 10 pm at regular intervals. Shakura, Eagle and Hanif Paribahan AC/Non-AC bus fares from Tk 500 to 1200 (variable).
Launch is the ideal vehicle to go from Dhaka to Barisal. Launches bound for Barisal from Sadarghat leave between 8pm and 9pm and reach Barisal early in the morning. Sundarban 7/8, Surbhi 8, Parabat 11, Kirtankhola 1/2 launch deck fare is Tk 150, double cabin is Tk 1600 and VIP cabin is Tk 4500.
