Nivrete Nisarg Park is located near Matamuhuri River in Surajpur Manikpur Union in Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar District. The distance of this park is about 55 km from Cox’s Bazar and about 12 km from Chakria. South of it is Lama Upazila of hilly Bandarban.
Matamuhuri River passes between the mountains on both sides. There is great proximity to mountains and rivers here. A boat trip on the river, along with seeing the meandering of the mountain river, one can see various wild animals, and waterfalls flowing down the hill, and the chirping of various birds will thrill the mind. Passing through the blue water, you will see several tall white stone mountains.
Surrounded by green hills, this beautiful place has been out of reach of tourists for so long. This unknown tourist spot was named ‘Nivrete Nisarg Park’ by the District Commissioner just a few days ago. River cruises are open for everyone here from seven in the morning to five in the afternoon. As the park is new, it has not yet created a well-organized tourist-friendly environment. However, work is going on for the development of tourism. Thousands of tourists flock to this park every day.
