Darya Nagar tourist center is a wonderful meeting place of mountains, sea and sun. To observe this wonderful combination of nature, you have to go along the Marine Drive road of Cox’s Bazar, just 4 km east of Kalatali Junction. The road from Cox’s Bazar to Teknaf passes through the Bay of Bengal on one side and hills on the other side. If you proceed along this road, you will see the Daryanagar entertainment center built by combining the five hills of Barachera village. Daryanagar Beach can be the ideal place if you want to see the sea in a peaceful environment surrounded by mountains in Cox’s Bazar Beach. Daryanagar has a tunnel that curves under the high mountain, known as Shahenshah Cave, and also has a small trickling spring. If you love adventure, if you want to have a different taste, visit the cave.
Currently, the biggest attraction in Darya Nagar is parasailing. To add to the joy of tourists visiting Cox’s Bazar, parasailing is available only at Daryanagar Beach. At present parasailing can be done from two establishments in Daryanagar. Satellite Vision C Sports company has three packages, to take these packages you have to spend 1500, 2000 and 2500 taka respectively. And the company named Funfest Beach Activities has two packages. Which can be taken for 1500 and 2000 taka.

Good to know, The 1500 Taka ride only flies in the sky. After flying in the sky in the ride of 2000 Taka, the feet touched the sea water below and flew again in the sky. In all cases, 300 to 450 feet are raised for 5 to 12 minutes.
How to go
To travel on Marine Drive Road you have to come to Cox’s Bazar. Cox’s Bazar can be reached from Dhaka in various ways. Dhaka to Saudia, S Alam Mercedes Benz, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan, Sohag Paribahan, S. Alam Paribahan, Modern Line, etc. buses leave daily for Cox’s Bazar. Depending on the class, the bus fares range from Tk 900 to Tk 2500 per seat.
If you want to travel directly to Cox’s Bazar by train from Dhaka, you can take the Cox’s Bazar Express or Tourist Express train from Kamalapur or Airport Railway Station. Also, if you want to come from Dhaka by train via Chittagong to Cox’s Bazar, you can take Sonar Bangla, Suborn Express, Trina-Nishitha, Mahanagar Prabhati / Twilight trains from Kamalapur or airport railway station according to your convenience. Train fare will be Tk 405-1398 per seat. Then you can come to Cox’s Bazar by S Alam, Hanif, or Unique Paribahan bus from Chittagong’s new bridge area, Alankar Mor, Cinema Palace, or Dampara bus stand. Depending on the bus, the fare will be Tk 420 to Tk 1000.
Apart from this, Bangladesh Biman, NovoAir, and US Bangla Airways operate several flights from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar. Besides, you can come to Chittagong by air and go to Cox’s Bazar by road.
You can easily go to Dariya Nagar from anywhere in Cox’s Bazar. By autorickshaw/easybak or CNG, you will reach Daryanagar, 4 km from Kalatali Beach Junction, to see the beauty of Marine Drive Road. Local autorickshaw fare is Tk 20. Easybike/autorickshaw or CNG can be reserved to travel around. Himchari is a little further from Daryanagar, and you have to go to Inani Beach through this road. So you can plan your trip that way. You can spend some time in Daryanagar on the way to or from Inani or Himchari. However, it is best to visit Daryanagar in the afternoon.
