It is difficult to find a person who has been to Cox’s Bazar but has not been to Himchari or has not heard the name of Himchari. Himchari is located at the foot of the hill, just 12 km from Cox’s Bazar. Himchari’s small waterfalls, hills, and photographic beaches keep tourists enthralled. You must come to Himachari to see the cool water fountains, Marine Drive Road, and the vast beaches. You can go to Himchari all year round, but the springs fill up in monsoons.

Also, you can easily buy your choice from the Burmese market at the entrance of the Ecopark at the foot of the hill.

How to go

If you want to go to Himchari, first you have to go from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar. There are different types of AC-Non AC bus services to come to Cox’s Bazar. The fare varies from Tk 900 to Tk 2500 per person depending on the bus. Besides, you can go to Cox’s Bazar directly from Dhaka by Cox’s Bazar Express or Tourist Express train. And if there is no tension with the budget
But you can choose an air route to go to Cox’s Bazar.
Himchari from Cox’s Bazar
Himchari can be visited from anywhere in Cox’s Bazar by easybike/auto or CNG. If you want to reserve, the rent will be 400 to 600 taka according to the season. Besides, Himachari can be reached by local easybike/ CNG from Kalatali junction. You can also go around Kaizen Hall in an open jeep.
Himchari and Inani Beach are along the same road. So if you plan to visit Inani Beach then it would be convenient to take a car to visit both places at once. Be sure to bargain while fixing the reserve car. Discuss in advance where and how much time you will spend and what you will see.
