The historic Rajajhir Dhigi is located at the zero point of Feni City. Legend has it that this lake was dug about seven hundred years ago to cure the blindness of the daughter of a powerful king of Tripura. People of the Feni region call Kanya Jhi in the regional language. As a result, the dighi came to be known as Rajajhir Dighi or Rajanshini Dighi after digging.
The total area of Rajaji Dighi is 10.32 acres. After the establishment of the Feni Sub-Division in 1875, the headquarters of the Sub-Division was established on the bank of Dighi in Rajajhi. Various important facilities including Feni Court Mosque, Feni Sadar Police Station, Officers Club, National Heart Foundation, and Shishu Park have been built around Rajaji Dighi. Besides, several paved ghats, seating areas, and beautiful walkways for walking have been constructed around the lake.
