Belai Beel is a charming beel surrounded by the villages of Baria, Brahmangaon, Bakhtarpur and Bamchini Mauza along Chelai river in Gazipur district. Spreading over about 8 square miles, many parts of this bill have water almost throughout the year. But if you want to enjoy the true beauty of Belai Bill, there is no alternative to the rainy season. It is known that this bill did not exist 400 years ago. Like the flow of Chelai river, this bill was also a drought. During the rainy season, fishermen are busy around the bill, but during the dry season, the bill becomes a paddy field.
The enchanting scenery of the bill full of shapla-shalu, the movement of one or two boats, the wide body of water and a single village floating like an island in the midst of it, make Belai Bill a beautiful beauty of nature. And the island village of Bamchini Mauza in Bill is famous throughout the country for one house in one Mauza. Besides, if you have time, you can visit Bhawal Pargana, a cremation ground/cremation house located along the river.
