Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman Memorial Museum is located in Ramnagar, Muchapur Union, Raipura Upazila, Narsingdi District, near Dhaka. On March 31, 2008, this museum bearing the memory of the Liberation War was inaugurated. Many people came from far and wide to see Birshrestha Matiur Rahman Museum, which is run by the Zilla Parishad.
Flight Lt. Matiur Rahman is one of the seven heroes who have been honored for their bravery and bravery in the glorious liberation war of Bengali. Lieutenant Matiur Rahman was martyred on August 20, 1971 when a T-33 training aircraft crashed in India after being hijacked from a Pakistani air base. Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman Memorial Museum was built in Raipur Upazila of Narsingdi district to pay respect to this martyred brave man. The library of the museum has a collection of about 2800 books. Next to the Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman Museum are Bir Shrestha’s relatives’ home, Ramnagar High School and Ramnagar North Para Government Primary School. This museum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.

To go to Birshrestha Matiur Rahman Library and Memorial Museum, first you have to go to Raipur in Narsingdi district from Dhaka. You can go to Narsingdi by any bus from Gulisthan in Dhaka to Meghalaya or Bhairav. Raipur upazila is 28 km from Narsingdi. By CNG or auto, you can go to Birshrestha Matiur Rahman Library and Memorial Museum located on the banks of Ramnagar river along Ramnagar North Para Road.
