Dharmasagar Dighi

Dharmasagar Dighi is located in the center of Comilla district city. It is believed that between 1750 and 1808 AD, King Dharmapala of the philanthropic Pala dynasty dug the Dharmasagar lake to alleviate the water shortages of the then famine-stricken people. The Dighi was named Dharmasagar Dighi after him. A children’s park has been constructed to the north of Dharmasagar Dighi. Sitting in the green children’s park, one can enjoy the charming view of Dharmasagar. In the afternoon, hundreds of tourists flock to the banks of the picturesque Dharmasagar lake covered in greenery. If you want, you can rent a boat and visit Dighi.
