Flower Village Sabdi

Sabdi in Narayanganj district is an interesting travel destination among the day trips from Dhaka. In winter the crop fields of Sabdi village are filled with yellow mustard flowers. Besides, in the month of February, different types of flowers such as rose, marigold, gladiolus, gerbera, cosmos, daisy gypsy, dahlia, chrysanthemum etc. are cultivated here. The entire village becomes colorful with the colors of spring flowers. The busyness of the village farmers revolves around flower cultivation. Then the footfall of nature-loving visitors increased in Sabdi village. The breathtaking beauty of the sunset view from Digantjora Flower Kingdom enthralls the travelers.
Other places to spend time in the flowery village of Sabdi are Premtala, Kadam Rasul Dargah, Siraj Shahar Shrine Complex, Sonakanda Fort, a small park and the banks of the river Lakshmanabande. If you want, you can go down to the river and explore the surroundings by boat.

How to go

To go to Sabdi, first take Utsav, Shital, Bandhan or BRTC AC/Non-AC bus from south gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque in Gulistan or near Bangabandhu National Stadium near Ghat No. 2 of Narayanganj Chajara or Bandar. When the farmers get off, they have to come to the launch ghat by rickshaw or other transport. Arriving at the launch ghat, you can cross the river in an engine driven boat and take auto/easybike reserve to easily explore the flower village Sabdi and other nearby attractions.
Besides, if you want to go to Sabdi by your own transport or a private car, you will reach Sabdi village after crossing Kanchpur Bridge and going 8 km along Bandar Sadar Road through Madanpur.
