Gajnar Bil is an important sightseeing place located in Sujanagar upazila, about 35 km from Pabna district town. A narrow paved road runs through the bill, bisecting it in two. On both sides of the road there is a realm of water that spans the horizon. During the rainy season, the water on this road of Ghazna Bill seems to overflow. Various species of birds and local fishermen live around this wonderful bill. It can be said that the nature and economy here is largely centered on this gas bill.
The formation of Gajna Bill with an area of about seven acres by joining 16 small and big bills of 10 unions of Sujanagar Upazila. The Badai Flume Gate connects the Padma River and the Ghazna Bill. During the dry season, when the bill dries up, paddy and onion are cultivated. Free movement of nature lovers to enjoy the beauty of the bill by buying or eating fresh fish of the bill.
How to go
Several transport buses like Pabna Express, C-Line, Sarkar Travel, Shyamoli etc. leave for Pabna from Gabtali in Dhaka. By bus, the fare will be 500-900 taka per person. Take the Pabna-bound bus and get off at Birahimpur or Twenty Four Mile and take a van or any other local transport to Durgapur or Boalia Battala. You can rent a boat from Battala for 300-400 taka per hour or 1500 to 2000 taka for the whole day.
Or you can come to Sujanagar upazila from Pabna district city and rent CNG and get gas bill at Khayran bridge which is 7 km away.
