Inani beach

Inani Sea Beach is 23 km from Cox’s Bazar and 14 km from Himchari. At low tide, you can see coral rocks like St. Martin’s at Inani Beach. Here the sea is not so rough like Cox’s Bazar and this calm sea attracts the tourists more. Usually, the afternoon is the ideal time to visit Inani Beach. There are fewer tourists in the afternoon and you may regret missing out on the beautiful sunset later. Besides, while going to Inani Beach via Marine Drive Road towards Teknaf, you will be relieved from all the tiredness of your journey by seeing Himchari Hills, Seashore Sampan, rows of coconut and jauban trees, and the surrounding scenery.

How to go

First, you have to come to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka. There are various types of AC-Non AC bus services to come to Cox’s Bazar. Among them are Sidiya, S Alam’s Mercedes Benz, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan, Sohag Paribahan, S. Alam Paribahan, St Martin Hyundai, etc. are notable. The bus fare ranges from Tk 900 to Tk 2500 per person. Besides, you can go to Cox’s Bazar directly from Dhaka by Cox’s Bazar Express or Tourist Express train. And if there is no tension with the budget, you can choose the air route to go to Cox’s Bazar. In this case, depending on the time and flight class, you will need 4600 to 12,000 Tk.
Open jeeps are always available from Cox’s Bazar beach to Inani beach. If you go to reserve, it takes more money, subject to negotiation, you can go from 1500 to 2000 taka. A jeep can seat 12 to 15 people easily. Going to and from Inani Beach by autorickshaw/easy bike will cost Tk 500 to Tk 800 depending on the season. Besides, you can go to Inani Sea Beach by local CNG for 80 taka per person.
