Shubolang Jharna

Shublong Jharna is located next to Shublong Bazar at a distance of only 25 km from Rangamati Sadar. Like all the other springs of Bangladesh, the water in Shublong Jharna is very low during the dry season. During the monsoon season, a huge stream of water from a hill about 140 feet high falls into the Kaptai Lake. Besides, the beauty of the way to see Shublong Jharna can make you emotional. Seeing the lake flowing through two mountains can be mistaken for Thailand!
The beauty of Shublong Jharna captivates the tourists. The wonderful sight of the waterfall gushing down the rocky ground from the top of the mountain cannot be expressed in words. If you have extra clothes with you, you can take a bath in the cool water of the spring to refresh your body. Near Shublong Jharna there is ‘Shublong Pahar’ or ‘T&T Pahar’ about 2000 feet high. At the top of the hill, there is an army camp and a T&T tower. There are nice stairs to climb the hill. From the top of the hill, it seems that the entire Rangamati district is floating on the water of Kaptai Lake.
