South Town Mosque

South Town Jame Masjid is located in the South Town residential project of Keraniganj, capital Dhaka. The Nazarkara style of architecture and varied constructions have given the mosque added uniqueness. Although the mosque is primarily a place of prayer, South Town Jame Masjid has gained a place in the hearts of beauty lovers due to its architectural style. So the message of this mosque has easily reached people across the country. As a result, every day many visitors come to see the mosque and offer prayers.
There are 3 main gates on the east side and a total of 5 entrances on both sides to enter the South Town Mosque which was built for about two years. And inside the mosque, there are numerous windows for ventilation. The mosque, built on half a bigha of land, has a facility to offer prayers to about 600 worshippers

How to go

From Jatrabari in Dhaka, take a bus or Laguna to cross Postgola Bridge and board another Laguna to get down at Keraniganj Central Jail Gate. You can reach the South Town residential project by walking for five minutes from Jail Gate.
Besides, you can go to the South Town residential project in front of the new jail located at Rajendrapur on Dhaka Mawa highway by bus or CNG from Gulistan.
